Brave listed twice in macOS default browser dropdown menu

the Brave Browser is listed twice in the macOS General settings default browser dropdown menu:

  1. Navigate to macOS General system setting control panel
  2. Select ‘Default web browser’ drop down menu.
  3. Observe two entries for Brave as per screenshot.

Expecting that there’s only one entry for Brave
