Brave kicks me off wifi. Tested 2 different networks

When I open Brave on my laptop it shuts my wifi connection down. Other browsers have no issue. I have tested this issue on 2 separate home networks. I have uninstalled and reinstalled brave. From what I can tell all of my wifi connection settings are default and correct. I tried resetting Brave settings to default. I also have Brave on my gaming PC and it has no issues.

  1. I open Brave
  2. Wifi says its disconnected
  3. I close Brave, manually disconnect wifi and reconnect.
  4. Once my reconnection is established I can open Chrome with no issue.
