Brave keeps rapidly refreshing dubaro.de:
How can this issue be reproduced?

  1. enter dubaro.de?
    2.?

Expected result:

** v1.77.101:**

When entering dubaro.de, brave keeps refreshing the site rapidly and constantly - only this one site, every other site is working fine with brave. I cleared cache and deleted every browserdata, deactivated and removed every extension. It only happens on dubaro.de, i can enter the site normally on every other browser i tried.

In a Brave Browser New Window, go to brave://settings/content/javascript

Scroll down that javascript settings page to Allowed to use javascript

Click the Add button

Enter: [*.]dubaro.de as the site . . . but do not Enable the following: Current Private session only

Click the Add button

In a Brave Browser New Window, visit the website. There, you may, or may not, need to make Brave Shields adjustments.

Tips regarding Brave Shields:

I have more success, with:

  • Brave Shields UP
  • Either Allow All Cookies or Block 3rd Party Cookies, but NOT Blocking All Cookies
  • Allowing JavaScripts from specific sources, but NOT Allowing All JavaScripts
  • Trackers & Ads treatment: Aggressive (at first), and then incrementally relaxing that setting
  • Fingerprinting (aka footprinting) blocking: Strict (at first), and then incrementally relaxing that setting

I almost NEVER use:

  • All of Brave Shields UP
  • All of Brave Shields DOWN

Hi, thanks - but it was already there under Allowed to use javascript, see Screenshot attached.

In a Brave Browser New Window, go to the following brave://settings/content/siteDetails page

  • brave://settings/content/siteDetails?site=https%3A%2F%2Fdubaro.de

There, scroll down to the JavaScript setting and set that to, or confirm the setting: Allow

JavaScript__Allow

Visit the website.

Also, you may want to:

In a Brave Browser New Window, go to the On exit tab at: brave://settings/clearBrowserData

Make sure that both Cookies and other site data and Site and Shields Settings are DISABLED.

I did everything as suggested, but its still the same at dubaro.de

In a Brave Browser New Window, visit the website and click the “tune” icon that is immediately to the left of http in the URL Address field
Tune_button_left_offset_of_URL_address_field

In the pop-down menu, you should see a JavaScript setting ← toggle that, and then set it so blocking JavaScript is Disabled.

Next, click the Site-Specific Brave Shields [Lion] icon located to the right of the Brave Browser URL Address field.

Set the Site-Specific Brave Shields [Lion] icon master switch to the Disabled position.

Result?
