Description of the issue:
The browser launches then immediately goes away.
How can this issue be reproduced?
It occurs each time I launch the browser (either by clicking on the icon or starting from a terminal session.
Expected result:
The browser to launch and remain open.
Brave Version( check About Brave):
1.79.118.
Additional Information:
On the Brave website I found a statement that “while the Snap version of Brave is maintained by Brave Software, it is not yet working as well as our native packages”. Instructions were posted on how to install the DEB version of the browser in a terminal session. I uninstalled the Snap version then followed the instructions to install the DEB version (“copy and paste” the posted instructions). It installed with no problem but again, upon launch it immediately shut down.
