Brave is not producing sound on MacOS (is not muted; no extensions installed)

**Description of the issue: Brave browser produces no sound at all. Computer is not muted. Other browsers produce sound. Issue is not restricted to one site, it is across the browser.

**Operating System and Brave Version(See the About Brave page in the main menu): I am running Mac OS Monterey 12.1 and Brave is in version 1.34.81. There are no extensions installed on the browser and it is the only web browser on my computer to be muted.
