Brave is hacked. Google Image auto switched to Microsoft Bing already 2 weeks. Today 2021-05-24 is worse, come out "Microsoft we are updating our Term"

Brave latest version

Version 1.24.86 Chromium: 90.0.4430.212 (Offizieller Build) (64-Bit)

When Default serach engine is DuckDuckGo.

  1. When I type

https://images.google.com/
it automatically switched to

https://images.google.com/?gws_rd=ssl

Please disabled this URL. Hacker hijacked this.

It looks like it is Google image. Everything looks real. But when type anything to search, it is becoming Microsoft Bing Image. Already 2 week so. When Search short things “Me”, it goes to Google Search of “Me”, instead of Google Image of “Me”.

When search long words, all Microsoft Bing Image.

  1. Today is worse. After I uploaded Rumble, the Page automatically switched to “Microsoft we are updating our Term”.
    This comes out. Keeps flashing.

  1. After Reinstall Brave, updated the Security Standard to block all Javascript. Switched to Aggressive Track Ads Blocking. It is same thing.
When switched the Search Engine to Google.
    Task bar is
    https://www.my-search.com/

  2. I have reset the Brave. Now it is not abnormal. My Passwords must be leaked out. I have to undo all my saved passwords in Brave.

Hacker do it to copy all possible backup code for 2 step verification.

Only Brave is doing this. Hacker attacks Brave must for the Blockchain. Brave is NOT as safe as advertised.

Please fix Brave. Now I am switching to other Browser.

How to make sure Brave is NOT screen sharing my things? I can sense, it is screenshared.
NOT wrong about my computer. I use ProtonVPN. Myself is also learning anti-hacking.
Thank you very much

@BuddhaBuddhaBuddha,
Thank you for reaching out. I can assure you that Brave is not “hacked” and this is likely a cache/setting/extension issue. To confirm this, please try the following:

  1. Open Brave and create a new browser profile to test.
  2. Close your main profile browser window, so you only have the new profile window open.
  3. Set your default search engine in the new profile to the desired engine.
  4. Attempt to reproduce the result.

My guess is that the search behavior in the new profile will work as expected. If so, we can troubleshoot your original profile and figure out what’s causing the behavior. If not, let me know and we’ll go from there.

gws_rd (Google Web Server ReDirection) is a string added by Google, not by Brave, let alone by a “hacker”.
