Brave is blocking cookies to sites were there are entered exceptions

having updated to Brave 1.149.120 i am no longer able to log into various websites. eg Proton mail & Google.

**Did the issue present with default Shields settings? (no) It was site specific errors requesting that cookies be enabled. Even though both of these URLs are entered in the " Sites that can always use cookies"

Does the site function as expected when Shields are turned off? - YES

**Is there a specific Shields configuration that causes the site to break? If so, tell us that configuration. NO - Shields are up, with entries to " Sites that can always use cookies" for each domain.

Does the site work as expected when using Chrome? - Yes

**Brave version (check About Brave): 1.149.120

Protonmail has rebranded its domain to proton.me

So can you check if you have made the necessary changes for the exceptions to work.

Also, you can try to change per site cookie settings, by visiting the site then clicking on the orange lion icon in top right hand corner and there changing it to ‘All cookies allowed’.
