Brave is automatically muting tabs

Whenevery I open a new tab the audio is muted and I have to click on the sound icon to unmute everytime.

I want it so that I don’t have to personally unmute the tab everytime.

Brave version: 1.5.115

@dhruvan13,
Can you go to brave://settings/content/sound and ensure that you don’t have this option toggled “off”? If so, it would block sites from playing sound by default.

For some reason I had to toggle it “off” then “on” again. Sites now play audio by default.
