Yesterday I installed Brave on my LG G5 Android 8 cell phone. Halfway through setting up my bookmarks I noticed my speaker was not working at full volume. Each time I touched the screen the speaker would click “on” with slight static for 3 seconds then click “off”. The volume remains at about 30% even though it has been adjusted to full volume mechanically via the volume toggle and through the volume adjustment in settings. I’ve spent the last 24 hours searching the web and trying ALL the common recommended solutions. I have difficulty accepting the coincidence that my speaker went bad in the middle of setting up a newly installed app.
