Description of the issue:
I have a work profile set up on my android phone. The following occurs while using brave in my personal profile:
Navigating to any google site that requires a login will bring up the accounts sign-in page accounts.google.com. However, ONLY the google account from my work profile is available as an option from brave (Chrome works fine). This completely blocks me from using any web-based google service on Brave’s mobile browser.
How can this issue be reproduced?
- Set up a work profile, with a different google account from your main device (work email)
- using brave installed in the personal profile, navigate to accounts.google.com
- try to sign in with your personal account. Brave incorrectly pulls the work account, and does not allow selection of the main phone’s account!
Expected result:
I would expect brave to use the correct account for the profile under which the app is installed (work profile requires a separate sandboxed app install). Or at least allow me to choose my personal account.

This bug has been around for at least a year (since I added work profile). I just work around by using the chrome browser instead, but it’s getting quite frustrating.
