I am using Brave on iPhone 8 with the language Hebrue.
Until a few weeks ago, the icon’s backward, forwards, etc order was like in all browsers, etc from left to right, backward, forward, new number of tabs and setting.
After the last upgrade to 1.73 (97), the order now is the opposite order and looks very strange.
When I change the iPhone language to English, they look correct.

You might go to the Brave Browser (iOS) Settings > Brave Shields & Privacy . . .
Scroll down to and enable:
“Allow Privacy-Preserving Product Analytics (P3A)”
“Automatically send daily usage ping to Brave”
Brave might pick up on the issue - we hope.
Otherwise, on occasion, I have made sure to back up bookmarks (and I use a password manager/wallet other than Brave’s) . . .
And, totally remove Brave Browser and its Files > Brave folder.
Perform at least 2 complete shutdowns of the iPhone 8.
Then install a fresh installation of Brave Browser.

I can tell you that I also have an iPhone 1, and the same problem spread on this phone after a few days.
I saw that the last update supported Hebrew, and I suspect the issue is in this version 1.73.
I also have an iPhone 6 with Brave, and this issue does not exist on this phone, because it had the previous version.
I tried to remove the app, but it didn’t help, I will try to remove it and do 2 restarts, and will let you know, but since it is happening in 2 phones from different versions, I don’t think it will solve this issue.
Maybe a character encoding issue?
Resizing the character (via code that is within the Brave Browser), might flip “from right to left”. Not, moving the characters, but flipping them in place.
BTW, there is a Font Book - Discover fonts app for iPhone:

Resizing the fonts’ didn’t help.
I forgot to mention, that changing the iPhone language to English, solves this issue.
But I want to stay with Hebruw.
So it is just proof that the problem is in " * Added support for Hebrew, Vietnamese and Thai languages. (#42181)" in version 1.73.
One more thing, this problem is happening also when I change my iPhone language to Arabic, which is also written from right to left
