Is anyone else having issues with Brave taxing your CPU?

I know there was a sub-reddit post a couple of weeks ago where people were having the same issue.

I’m finding that Brave is chewing up 15 to 20 GBs of RAM, and that’s without anything streaming. And the biggest culprits are: GPU Process at 5.6 GBs & 42% CPU Browser at GBs @ 22% CPU So that means the browser alone & the GPU process are eating nearly 8GBs of RAM, without any pages open using video or anything much. Thank you to those of you who provided the requested information I asked for. The reason I asked for it is to see if Brave at baseline – that is, by itself without any other major factors playing into it. So far, at baseline, it seems like everyone’s browser is just fine.
