Brave Hardware Wallet support doesn't work with Ledger Nano S (repeatedly asks for permission)

Description of the issue:

Brave hardware wallet (Ledger) is broken on several websites. It repeatedly asks for permission even though I say “YES FOREVER” and fails to accept the permission grant.

Steps to Reproduce (add as many as necessary): 1. 2. 3.

  • Connect a Ledger Nano S wallet vi USB with the Elrond app installed
  • Go to https://maiar.exchange/
  • Click on the “Connect” blue button in the top right hand corner
  • Click on “Ledger”
  • Click on “Connect Ledger”
  • It opens up a brave popup asking for permission to use the “Security Key”
  • Click on Allow
  • It fails to register the permission grant and open up another permission popup
  • Then it loops forever

Actual Result (gifs and screenshots are welcome!):

  • It fails to register the permission grant and open up another permission popup
  • Then it loops forever

See the attached video : https://youtu.be/fAZ5GJ9-n7Y

Expected result:

It should register the permission grant and not ask it again and continue with the ledger login process.

The exact same procedure works perfectly fine on Firefox.

Reproduces how often:

Always
