Brave Hangs after Printing to PDF on macOs

Description of the issue:
Twice in a row when printing a website to a pdf file my computer starts to overheat and Brave browser hangs. I tried then to Force Quit. The first time, although all windows were closed, Brave Browser was still in the Force Quit Applications window. It was also impossible to restart the computer. I had press CMD + touch ID button to force my macbook pro to shut off. The second time I could quit Brave browser through the Force Quit Applications window.

How can this issue be reproduced?

  1. Go to a website you find interesting.
  2. Print the page with the shortcut CMD + P
  3. In the print window choose as Destination: Save as Pdf
  4. Click Save
  5. The PDF is saved.
  6. Brave browser is unresponsive, it’s even impossible to drag its windows. The other open applications work well.

Expected result:
The expected result is that after saving the pdf, I can continue browsing the net through Brave browser.

Brave Version( check About Brave):
Version 1.7.92 Chromium: 80.0.3987.163 (Official Build) (64-bit)](https://brave.com/latest/)

Additional Information:
macOs 10.15.4 (19E287) with 32GB of RAM

@quasi,
Thanks for reaching out, and for your detailed report.
On my end (using macOS 10.15.4 as well), I was able to print to PDF without any issues. Can you tell me if you have any extensions installed at this time?

hi @Mattches

The issue is not happening again. I had that day several tabs different Google Docs open. Maybe this was the reason? (I use to have several windows with a lots of tabs open)

Here under I list the extensions I have installed (I think those are the default ones):

Web3 provider for using Dapps
Hangouts
IPFS Companion
Media Router
Private Window with Tor
WebTorrent
Widevine

Anyway, Everything seems to work fine again. I will pay more attention to the content of the tabs when it happens.

Thank you for your prompt reply!
