How can this issue be reproduced?
- Ensure a stable and fast internet connection using 5GHz Wi-Fi with a full signal strength (e.g., as tested: Download Speed: 309 Mbps, Upload Speed: 518 Mbps, Ping: 4 ms). The mobile device is positioned close to the Wi-Fi access point. No VPN is used.
- Open the Brave browser (version 1.73.104) on an iOS or Android device.
- Navigate to Facebook (www.facebook.com).
- Play any video, including Reels or standard video posts. Observe the video quality.
Expected result:
ideos should play in high definition (HD) or at the highest available quality based on the source video’s resolution and the user’s internet connection, comparable to other browsers or the native Facebook app.

When testing this issue, I ensure that only the Brave browser is running. All other applications are closed, and I’ve confirmed that no downloads are pending or active in the background. Additionally, no music or other audio is playing. My internet connection provides excellent performance, with videos playing at high quality and optimal resolution on my computer connected to the same network.
