Does the site function as expected when Shields are turned off?

Android Brave version (check About Brave):
Brave 1.71.121, Chromium 130.0.6723.91
When you get to the content filter, under the button to create a custom filter, there are several filter lists, by default, your Brave should be configured for only a few of them.
You may find among them, or on some other site on the Internet, a customized list focused on removing ads from these types of streaming sites.
But for this specific case, these 3 lines I wrote above will solve it for this specific site.
@pemyun please update to the latest ad block updater version in brave://components — latest version is 1.0.9072 — and check and see if the issue persists.
I do not see any ads on this site on Android or desktop using the latest Brave version and ad block updater version:

@pemyun still not seeing any ads on toonstream using that exact link you shared. In the second link however, while there were no on page/in video ads, I did get a redirect when I tapped play here. Will have @fanboynz take another look.
Hi @fanboynz ,I noticed that this GitHub Issue has been marked as closed with the “fixed as component update” label. However, I’m still encountering the pop-up issue. Could you please take another look?
By the way why you need to plead before someone who is reluctant to reply(also i detailed every step of problem & informed browser devs in this issue) when there are plenty of alternatives are available.
@fanboynz I’m experiencing the same issue as the original poster. This has been ongoing for quite some time. Why hasn’t the Brave Browser team addressed this yet?
