Brave / Facebook bug

Description of the issue:
The issue is the following: When I’m on Facebook and try to see a video, a lot of times I can’t see it.
It works for a little bit, then the video gets covered with multiple colored lines.

Reproduces how often:
It reproduces almost on any video.

Operating System and Brave Version(See the About Brave page in the main menu):
Windows 10, Version 0.66.100 Chromium: 75.0.3770.142 (Official Build) (64-bit).

Additional Information:
I’m not sure what causes this behaviour to happen.

I notice the same issue on my system.
Didn’t found a solution yet.

Try Disabling “Hardware acceleration” from settings. that might work.

It’s very likely a Hardware Acceleration issue as @Gaemeu pointed out. It also happens to be quite easy to test - go to,
Settings --> Additional Settings --> System --> Hardware Acceleration and disable it.

Relaunch the browser when prompted and attempt to view FB video content again. Please let me know if the issue is resolved.

I think that was the problem. I don’t get videos covered anymore. Ty :smiley:

P.S: I started using Brave a few days ago and I’m very pleased about it.

So far I only noticed the error with Intel HD Graphics. With a Nvidia card there was no problem until now, despite activated hardware acceleration.
