Brave eats keystrokes bound to Automation on Mac

On my mac I have a keystroke <Ctrl+M> bound to an automation Quick Action using the Keyboard System Preference. It works when I’m using Safari, but not in Brave. Doesn’t matter if I assign the action to any other Ctrl+letter combo, it still doesn’t work.

0. Create a Quick Action in Automator (may also work with built-in actions)

1. Assign the action to Ctrl+M (or Ctrl+Letter) in System Preferences/Keyboard
2. Go into brave
3. Press Ctrl+M
