Bug Details

I downloaded Brave via snap then started it using brave &. When Brave started it asked to be the default browser and I clicked the button to set it as my default browser. I then pinned brave to my launcher and now launch it from there instead of using the command line.

The next time I launched Brave it asked to be my default browser again. I clicked the button to accept, then checked my system settings (System Settings -> Details -> Default Applications), where Google Chrome was still listed as the default for Web. Via this menu I set the default web application to Brave.

I closed Brave and relaunched it, and yet again it asked me to be the default browser. I clicked accept. Then I checked my system settings and verified that Brave is still the default web application. I also looked under the Settings menu in Brave and noticed that Brave still thinks it is not the default browser.
