Brave does not clear data on iOS devices

Description of the issue:

How can this issue be reproduced?

  1. Go to settings โ†’ brave shields and privacy โ†’ clear data now
  2. Click โ€˜clear data nowโ€™
  3. Loading screen appears, then goes away and data is not cleared.

When I open a new browser window it shows the same huge amount of data accumulated. This is a critical issue that will determine whether I use the browser further or not.

Mobile Device details: iPhone 6s Plus
