BRAVE disconnected from Uphold

Briefly describe your issue:
Since October 2022, I have not been able to verify my Uphold account. every time I try an error message is displayed I first got a message “” Sorry there is problem in processing your request, please try again later".
After that i got the message “Error: Brave profile is flagged”.
Then one day I got the message “ERROR : Limited Uphold account fonctionality”. By following the procedure indicated in the “SOLUTION to ERROR : Limited Uphold account fonctionality” post, I checked my Uphold account and there is no longer a problem on that side. But now I get a message telling me that my Brave profile is reported.

No rewards have been transferred since September and I can’t find any reason or solution for all of this.
I also specify that I didn’t break any rules of the Brave Terms
Could someone explain to me what is happening and what I should do?

Do you mean flagged? Or does it actually say reported? I’m just wanting to make sure you’re not seeing a weird error I’ve not encountered yet.

Answer to this is to create a Rewards Support Ticket so someone from Brave can investigate for you. They ask for the support ticket so they can get some personal information needed to look, such as your wallet payment ID and email, which shouldn’t be shared openly.

Veuillez noter que pendant que votre profil Récompenses Brave est signalé, vous ne pouvez pas procéder à une vérification.

Aucune action n’est requise de votre part. Votre profil Récompenses Brave sera automatiquement réévalué régulièrement pour déterminer quand (ou si) le signalement pourra être retiré. Veuillez réessayer de temps en temps pour voir si le signalement a été retiré."

When I pass it on Google trad, the translation is the following “Error: Brave Rewards profile is reported”. But maybe it’s a bad translation.

@Franck Ah, ok. Yep, might just be something screwy in how it got translated to French on Brave’s side or something. But the part right after that, saying you’ve been flagged, is the key aspect. So it is saying that you’re flagged. Essentially system saw something that it believes is a violation of Terms or an attempt at fraud.

There are a lot of little things that can contribute to it, even sometimes even things that are normal and innocent, such as using VPN. (if you want far greater detail on VPN explanation, check out answer I just gave someone on the topic here)

In any case, flagged accounts are supposed to go through automatic review but hasn’t appeared to do so in a long time. So that support ticket link I provided is the best way to get Brave to look into it and make a decision. They’ll either reply to advise they have removed the flag (reinstated your account) or that they won’t reinstate your account (your Rewards profile is permanently suspended/banned).

Have you try this procedure?
It’s worked perfectly for me.

Start the withdrawal process:

  1. When asked, tap “Verify my Identity”
  2. Go through the process and take a selfie where your face is clearly visible and within the frame
  3. When you have the confirmation that it was successfully submitted, press “Continue”
  4. Now Exit the withdraw process (Press the back arrow on the top left)

You should now be able to have your account verified with Brave.

I had already tried this procedure. Without success !
Finally, I contacted Uphold who simply unblocked the situation. The problem therefore came from their side.
