Brave detected as InfoStealer in Mac Analytics Logs

I’m a long time Brave user and having some trouble with it lately causing my machine to overheat and crash, I believe the issue may relate to using YouTube although cannot confirm 100%.

Trying to figure out why my machine keeps crashing led me to find this scary looking log which suggests that Brave is being detected as an InfoStealer by Apple’s software.

Not sure what to make of this and whether this is a false positive, or if it’s extension related. Any advice would be appreciated.

Since it could be an extension, have you disabled all of them, and retested?

I don’t use anything Apple, so I have no idea what is “Apple software” that is logging the suspect.
