Brave Creators Payout Problem

Hi, today I received a Payout from brave creators, around 2,60 bat and nothing more, which is laughable considering the traffic I have.
I was receiving 60-100 the last three months. Checking my creators profile, it doesnt appear october deposit and skips till novemeber payday.

I’m using uphold

@ret012, it’s really helpful if you could take a moment to search through relevant topics before posting. For instance:

Additionally, there’s a Support ticket links section located in a pinned topic, Helpful Info & FAQ for Brave Users , which includes important info like the Creators Support Ticket form. Creating a support ticket would be the best way to get them addressed, as they’ll need more detailed information to investigate further.

I already submited a ticket and support told me that it’s “accurate”. Now, maybe you could you explain me why a Youtube Channel with 2.5 million views in a month can only earn 2,6bat while the last month with half of the visits earned around 80 bats?

@ret012 keep in mind that you don’t get BAT just from people visiting your content. You get BAT based on them choosing to tip you. If you haven’t been engaging your userbase to suggest they use Brave and speak about tipping, then you wouldn’t get much.

Also keep in mind can only tip on the same platform. So if you’re on Uphold, only people with Uphold can tip you. If you have on-chain wallet, then anyone can send crypto to that location and it would arrive immediately to your wallet.

What ticket number?

That this past month was much smaller than your prior? And to be clear, are you saying 2.6 BAT compared to 88?

ticket 284599.

From support they told me that this month’s payment ammount was correct, and they made a ridiculous comparison with the October 2023 payment saying that I received approximately the same amount as back then, with the small detail that at that time my channel was inactive, and now in 2024 it was my record performance in views.
Also on the brave creators page there is no deposit record for October, only the one for September and the date of the next payment in November. Another thing that makes me suspicious is that in the last deposits I have received two transfers per month, one of a smaller volume (up to 10 bats) and another with the rest. In this month only that single transfer mentioned of 2.6 bats appears.

I insist that this is irregular, because since my channel began to have volume since February, brave’s income has been increasing according to the amount of traffic I have had, that is why I mentioned the 88 bats that I received in the last payment. Last month I had a record 2.5 million views and it was the worst income of the year, that doesn’t add up.

Was asking on this so could tag in @Evan123 and @steeven in hopes they can take a look for you. Just needed info so they knew what to look at.

Hello! Happy to help clarify. If you only received a single deposit, it is because the other channel had no user contributions for the month. If you received two separate deposits previously it’s because both channels had contributions.

Monthly views do not necessarily indicate the amount of BAT you will earn. The amount earned is based on your users (visitors) contributions, which can be done three different ways.

  • On-demand contributions - BAT sent to you directly.
  • Monthly recurring contributions - BAT “Set as monthly contribution” option when making an on-demand contribution.
  • Auto-Contribute - A monthly contribution budget, which gets automatically divided across the Verified Creators someone visits each month.

If a user or users change their contribution habits, you may notice a decline or rise in your monthly deposit.

Just to say I got the exact same problem this month. I use to get 80-100 BAT every month for a very long time, and this month I got only 3.80 BAT

As for ret012, October doesn’t appear and the dashboard says that next payment will be in November.

Thanks @blueace for your testimony. Perhaps this deserves to be investigated further, @evan123 @saoiray since it does not seem to be an isolated case that applies to what you mentioned.

Of course, support won’t do anything about it, because they don’t care about the users. Thank you very much for nothing.
