Brave crashes when changing profiles

If I start Brave and try to change profiles by pushing the button in the upper-right corner, the browser freezes.

How can this issue be reproduced?

  1. Open Brave
  2. Push icon to change profile.

Expected result:

A list of possible profiles should appear, but this doesn’t happen, and instead the browser freezes.
