Brave crashes/vanishes when importing saved passwords from edge

Description of the issue:
First time install of Brave on Win11 Home, trying to import saved passwords from MS Edge. Brave crashes silently
How can this issue be reproduced?

  1. Settings
    2.Import bookmarks and settings
    3.MS Edge Profile 1
    4.Check Passwords if not already checked
    5.Click Import
    Brave vanishes

6 crashes, all for the same issue. The last one has this:

@dukecarey that isn’t what would be needed. It needs to say Uploaded Crash Report ID It seems the one you did hadn’t uploaded yet.

None of them were uploaded. The browser closed immediately upon me clicking the Import button when trying to import passwords. These 6 crash incidents are the only things that show up in the crash section.

So…I can’t give you what the browser didn’t provide

With the password option unchecked, everything else uploaded cleanly.
