Brave crashes to desktop when allowing Steam cookie

Brave crashes to desktop when clicking Allow on a Blocked cookie on Steam
It should be noted that unlike other reports, my browser does not crash often - only during the steps below.

Steps to Reproduce

  1. Navigate Brave browser to https://store.steampowered.com/
  2. Click the Site Information lock icon

  5. Click Allow
    Brave crashes to desktop following these steps.

Expected result:
Blocked cookie is moved to Allowed. Brave should not crash either way.

Reproduces how often:
Every repetition

Operating System and Brave Version(See the About Brave page in the main menu):
Windows 10 Pro 64 bit
1.16.72 Chromium: 86.0.4240.183 (Official Build) (64-bit)(https://brave.com/latest/)

Side note: I attempted to add “bug” to the tags, but this interface would not allow it. Further, this window is too small for a bug report interface, and it needs a preview option to ensure files were uploaded correctly.

I suspect solving this one will solve the one you’re seeing. I’ve added your report as a +1 to the Github thread on your behalf. The team has marked this as P2 priority so it should fixed soon rather than later.

That would not surprise me if they were at least related, if not in fact tied to the same code issue as you suggest. I’ll watch for fixes. Thanks for responding!
