After enabling brave sync from flags on my PC, I tried to sync it with my android, but the browser shut down and everytime I open it, it shut downs instantly.
PLEASE help me, I cannot remove it from the sync chain from my android, neither can I remove my android from the sync chain, also I don’t want to uninstall my browser, I has so many bookmarks and passwords and I don’t have a backup.
Brave is on latest version on both my PC and Android
open the command prompt and run
C:\Program Files BraveSoftware\Brave-Browser\Application\brave.exe" --disable-brave-sync
Then you can go into brave flags and disable enable sync…
are you sure the command is right?

So your command doesn’t work for my PC. well I have tried your command with --disable-brave-sync
Also i tried brave.exe destination with --disable-brave-sync and both doesn’t work
omg… The corrected command was borked as well… Below should work…

Did you use the command exactly as shown? ie. used the quotes… If you’re talking about the error you posted, that’s because you didn’t use quotes in your command which it says it cant find the command C:\Program
Nope that’s not the case, I did use the quotes, the Brave Browser opened and closed instantly.
ugh… as far as bookmarks those should be in C:\Users*’ user *\AppData\Local\BraveSoftware
so you can copy those out and back in again after reinstalling brave…
actually maybe passwords is in there too and can copied out and back in as well…
That’s a maybe and what about the ads revenue
eh… the brave rewards? from what i’ve seen on this forums is that brave rewards back up, restoration is glitchy…
Will the bookmarks and passwords be recovered by the Users>Appdata>Brave software copy thingy
oh… there’s one more thing to try… there was a problem with hardware accelleration as well…

try giving this a go…
LOL mate, before the incident happened I disabled the hardware acceleration from brave settings
bummer…
like i said earlier, the bookmarks, definately, the passwords maybe…
ie.
copy to some other location
uninstall brave
install brave
close brave if open
copy the old data into appdata…
