Everytime I click a zoom link from Google calendar to open the Zoom app my Brave browser crashes. Every time. A new tab opens and asks if I want to open zoom from the desktop app. I open it and then brave shuts down.
Every time. I have enabled crash reports etc. But this has been going on for a month now.
I love brave but won’t continue using it on my Mac if this can’t be resolved.
Settings ->
Look for Advanced Settings Mode at the bottom of the page.
Find “System”
Find where it says “Use hardware acceleration when available” and disable it, try again and tell us your results.
Brave doesn’t crash when I try to attend a Zoom session, but Zoom definitely does not work in the Brave browser. I do have Brave set as my default, but always have to use Safari to attend a Zoom - hopefully this will be fixed at some point. Other than that, I really like Brave!
