Here’s a bit more about the crash: it occurs after deleting the “instapundit.com” data if, once the site data is deleted, I cancel the search without clearing the search bar entry; if I clear the search bar entry before canceling the search, it doesn’t crash.
I now try to clear the search bar before cancelling the search, and can avoid the crash. But at times my fat fingers miss the “X” to clear and hit cancel instead, crashing Brave
This isn’t unique to instapundit.com. The crash can be reproduced by including enough of a website name in the search bar so that only one website remains in the results list, deleting the data for that one site (swipe left on the name in the list), then hit cancel without first clearing the search bar text.
The crash can be prevented by clearing the search bar text before hitting cancel.
