Starting yesterday, Brave stable crashes a few seconds after startup. There was an update, that briefly resolved the issue, then it came back again today.
How can this issue be reproduced?
- Start Brave with either an icon or via command line.
Expected result:
To start Brave normally with all the saved tabs and extensions.
**Brave Version: 1.56.11 Chromium: 115.0.5790.102

I can start the browser using the --disable-extensions flag, but then I can’t save off any data stored in my extensions, and can’t load all the pages suspended by Tiny Suspender.
I’ve tried removing all the extension data folders from .config/BraveSoftware/Brave-Browser/ folder, but it still failed to start, so I can’t really try to test adding back extensions one by one, to find the culprit.
Not sure if it’s a browser issue, or a faulty extension, but checking most of my extensions’ last update time in Chrome store, I can’t really find any recent updates.
