Description of the issue:
I posted a review and received the following question from the developer. I’m unable to reply on the apple review.
“Thanks for writing in. Does this happen when specific websites? Do you have any enhanced Shield settings enabled? “
I have iPad Pro (11-inch) (2nd generation) running the latest IOS. I have not changed any of the default settings.
Every day or two when I’m using another app and switch back to Brave, it reopens into the private window with all of my open tabs from the non private tab closed out. It is like a fresh start up for no reason. I’m very careful to never close Brave for fear of this happening because it is a pain to go through history and restore the tabs I want.
I really like brave. It does a great job of filtering out the irritating ads, but having to keep a notepad list of handwritten web sites seems a little off.
How can this issue be reproduced?
- The issue is random. It occurs every day or two by simply using a different app and then going back to Brave. I was thinking the problem was from how I was accessing Brave (swipe up bar at the bottom of the screen), so I did a full swipe up to click on the active Brave app. All my sites were visible in the active app collage, they remained present for a moment after clicking then it went blank and defaulted to private and closed out all my tabs.
Expected result:
I would be very happy if Brave would keep all of my tabs until I decide to close them.
