Brave causing screen to go off and on randomly

When using Brave, my H-P Spectre screen goes off and on randomly and frequently. NOT with other browsers.

Try . . . Disable Hardware Acceleration

In a Brave Browser > New Window, go to: brave://settings/system

Disable hardware acceleration, clear browser data; if you have nvidia, check if driver is up to date, and set it to Auto-select. Restart browser.

If not working, open Brave, than open a private window (CTRL+SHIFT+N) to see if issue persists.
