Brave can't load the profile and the preferences when opening the browser

Description of the issue:
When opening the browser appears a message saying that an error happens in the profile and can’t read preferences

How can this issue be reproduced?
One day appears this error and I don’t know what happens before

  1. Open the brave browser
  2. The message appears
  3. Any preference saved before is loaded (showing bookmark toolbars, torrent preference, dowload prefecences, etc…)

Expected result:
Load the browser with all the preferences

Brave Version( check About Brave):
Versión 1.15.76 Chromium: 86.0.4240.111 (Build oficial) (x86_64)

could you close brave and make sure no other running process then try this command

Well, seems working right, now! I created some profiles and deleted and all seems working fine now, I don’t know what can cause the problema, but if anything goes wrong will tell you :slight_smile:

the command is to start brave fro command line using the this argument --user-data-dir=somthing
and replace something with the directory to the folder you create
