Brave browser will not launch on Windows 10

@Mattches might want to check this topic and Brave doesn't start when I run it as administrator and Brave Shield doesn't work

@BobRoflza your issue may be slightly different, but I would also check Brave doesn't start when I run it as administrator and Brave Shield doesn't work - #13 by Saoiray for what it’s worth.

same issue here its seems something that its happening right now

@Alexjalisco please check the whole conversation around Brave doesn't start when I run it as administrator and Brave Shield doesn't work - #41 by clifton

3 days ago I tried to Open brave on does the computer I have several computers so when, I did like any normal people would do when they have a problem like this I went on to my other computer opened up brave and still would not work administration permission still does not work, so the issue is with brave not my computer and everybody seems to have a problem with it as of right now, so I uninstalled using a tool called Revo uninstaller the latest version, I did uninstalled everything that I could find that was connected to Brave, restarted my computer just to be safe and installed Brave once again on both computers I am still having the same problem the workaround that I have seen to get it to working.

  1. Right click the brave icon on your desktop click on troubleshoot compatibility.
  2. Click on try recommended settings.
  3. Then go to test the program.

Remarkably this solution works but Brave now continues to tell me something went wrong while displaying this website gives me an error code: status_stack_buffer_overrun as you can see from the images that I posted. As you can see from the video in the picture that I took there is a white line above the new tab bars it ain’t black solid line around the entire program full screen does work but I can’t even open a web page up because of this error it will flash the page then return to the error.

You cannot even press the f12 key on the keyboard to go into the command prompt of Brave. This this issue needs to be looked at. In a mobile application works fine so I do not know if it’s a virus that brave is having or a hacker.

And if anybody has a solution, for a workaround until they get a patch released for this bug or this issue, please tell us.
