@brking

Wild guess: A Content Delivery Network (“CDN”) source could not be reached via probably port 443 (quic) protocol 17 (UDP) connection.

Some such hosts have “cdn” in their hostname; but others do not.

Akamai (domain): akamai.net
Akamai Edge: dsca.akamaiedge.net

AmazonAWS (domain): amazonaws.com
AmazonAWS: db187550c7dkf.cloudfront.net

Facebook: scontent-dfw5-3.xx.fbcdn.net

Cloudflare (for fontawesome.com): use.fontawesome.com.cdn.cloudflare.net

Brave Search: cdn.search.brave.com

Lately (thru June) there has been a noticeable, increased use of Fastly, Cloudflare, AmazonAWS Cloudfront, and other CDN services activity per website.

CDNs apparently help protect against DDoS attacks. Also, there is some statistics gain by monitoring CDN logs; and I do not yet understand that mechanism - the value - the advantages for websites and whomever “wins” in the personal data trade marketplace.

NOTE: a-us00.kxcdn.comKXCDN.com had some bad reputation for delivering some junk, but it also supplies legit data (now). The point: An Anti-Virus / Internet Security process could block a CDN for having “a bad rap.”

You might use the Brave Browser > Developer Tools > Network window to discover what is being blocked.
