Description of the issue:
Brave Browser stopped working properly on May 22, 2025. I have a MacBook Pro using macOS sequoia 15.5. When I open brave browser, a blank screen appears almost all of the time. When I attempt to open a webpage, the page does not completely load, parts of the webpage are blank and missing, sometimes parts of the missing text and images will appear when I move my cursor over a blank area, and then they will flicker or disappear. None of my emails appear in gmail. I can’t access all of my settings on the brave browser settings page.
How can this issue be reproduced?
- Open Brave Browser
2.Open any webpage - Open Settings page for Brave browser
Expected result:
- When I open brave browser, it should show the homepage.
- Webpages should fully load and I should be able to click on them to move to other pages on the website.
- The settings page for brave browser should fully load, and I should be able to change all the settings and access my saved passwords.

Additional Information:
I tried deactivating Malwarebytes’ malware protection, web protection and app blocker protection, but it did not fix the problem. I tried downloading a new version of Brave Browser 1.78.012, thinking that maybe the original download of 1.78.012 was corrupted. It did not fix the problem. I updated Java, it did not solve the problem. MacOs is up to date. Any help that you can give me would be greatly appreciated.
