“Brave Browser” has consistently shown a notification for Reaction effects every time I initiate a meeting

I’ve been experiencing an issue since upgrading to macOS Sequoia 15.2 and has continued with 15.3. I’m using Brave v1.74.50 on a MacBook Pro M1 connected to an Apple Studio Display. (I added this information because both devices have webcams that support reaction effects in macOS.)

Whenever I visit https://meet.google.com/ to initiate a meeting, I receive a notification from macOS. This issue persists whenever I join a new meeting, which is particularly inconvenient since I work remotely.!

Me too, annoying for remote worker. Any ideas how to turn this off?

Not yet, I don’t have this problem with any other apps for video conferencing. The Brave team needs to prioritize fixing this bug.

With the new Sequoia update, it is still doing it. Would be nice to get some feedback from the Brave devs

Could someone from the dev team please comment on when this bug is expected to be fixed. Thank you.

The issue for BB users, above, and at:

"'Brave Browser' has turned off Reaction effects" notification every time I start a meeting

. . . has not been solved. The issue is also reported at Apple Discussions:

Disabling the ‘Turn on Reactions’ prompt when camera turns on

Looks like it is being addressed. Thank you for the information.

Not sure it’s been addressed. Still pops up. Doesn’t minimize and blocks other tabs.
