Description of the issue:-Need to uninstall/reinstall Brave but can’t uninstall without Control Panel
How can this issue be reproduced?

1.Every time I open Control Panel the Brave browser is missing, so can’t uninstall.

Expected result: Brave has been acting very buggy and very strange for a while but I’m stuck at the uninstall phase.

Brave Version( check About Brave): Version 1.43.89 Chromium: 105.0.5195.102 (Official Build) (64-bit)

Additional Information: Also get error message when checking for updates:

“An error occurred while checking for updates: Update check failed to start (error code 3: [0x80040154]”

If Brave is acting weird, then uninstalling and reinstall will not do much since Brave works with the User Data, which it is already generated, if you installed extensions and all that broke Brave, they will keep breaking Brave.

But Why do you need to uninstall it first?, if it doesn’t appear in Control Panel then it shouldn’t appear as installed.

If the installer says “you have newer version already” or whatever, then you can run (in terminal or CMD) setup.exe --uninstall --chrome-sxs --system-level, you find the Setup.exe in somewhere around, Program Files → BraveSoftware → Brave-Browser → Application → 114.0.5735.198 → Installer
If you have Windows 11 you can right click, inside the folder and 'open in terminal"

And that should uninstall it if that’s what you want.
