Brave browser crashes when dragging some texts onto title/tab bar

Description of the issue:
Brave browser crashes when dragging text onto title/tab bar.
I could reproduce it on my nvidia based desktop on both the flatpak and AUR version (brave-bin) and both Wayland and X11, and I can even reproduce it now after switching to AMD RX 9070 XT.

It seems to be somehow connected with the actual selection content. If I try to drag text from Google search results, it’s fine. But sometimes the text has some metadata I guess and it crashes (I can easily reproduce it on Brave’s new tab Bandwidth saved text for example)

AMD Wayland: ce7f0100-dac3-ac0d-0000-000000000000

How can this issue be reproduced?

  1. Open a new tab with default Brave new tab content
  2. Select the text Bandwidth saved
  3. Drag it onto the browser title/tab bar
  4. The moment the cursor enters the title/tab bar it crashes

Expected result:
The selection can be dropped to open a new tab with a search query instead of crashing.
