Hello, I have crashing problems on Brave browser for Android. Every time if RAM usage is high and CPU is overheating, the Brave browser crashes shortly after being frozen from high RAM usage and CPU overheating.

If RAM usage is high and CPU is overheating, the Brave browser for Android gets frozen for short time to browser crash after functioning normally.

Expected result:

Browsing performance-intensive webpages causes the browser to froze and crash shortly.

Brave 1.57.60, Chromium 116.0.5845.163

You’re explaining normal behavior. If your device is running more RAM than it can handle and it can’t balance, it’s going to discard open processes in order to try to save itself.

Part of the big question is whether it’s Brave causing this or what you have running?

This is quite old. A lot of devices have a lot higher storage and RAM capabilities than back then. I’m not sure if this could be contributing.

Could you go to brave://crashes and make sure things are uploaded? If you see the words Send Now then you’ll need to click those and then exit Brave for like 30 seconds. What you’ll need to copy/paste here are the Crash Report ID listed.

Just to be clear, need Crash Report ID and not the Crash Report Context.

I crashed Brave several times when visiting browsing performance-intensive webpages which caused RAM usage to hit too high and CPU to overheat.
