Brave browser on windows 11 is accessing my camera without any reason trying to use webcam whenever i signin to some websites like gmail.com
Its a shameless activity by brave risking users data.
Everytime i launch this browser on my windows 11 pc and open signin page like gmail.com this browser access my webcam which is a serious issue
fix this as soon as possible

I think your settings for camera allow the sites to access it. You can turn it off via brave://settings/content/camera for all sites by default.

despite turning it off it uses webcam for 2 second , thanks to kaspersky otherwise i didnt knew this

If it was off, then I do not know why it happened. Still, check your settings again. Personally I tape my cameras…
