For a long time before the current Brave version 1.50.121, Brave Browser scored brilliantly on the online test for protection against web tracking at:
But all of a sudden with the recent versions of Brave, the performance on the EFF test has tanked, with the EFF test saying that Brave only gave partial protection.
What is happening?
A fix is incoming (update in the next 24/48hrs), its just a benchmark on this specific site. Doesn’t represent worst privacy in Brave.
Thanks. I re-did the EFF test today on version 1.151.110, and Brave browser is back to its previous excellent score.
