Brave blocking login to discus

Description of the issue:
Brave is blocking login to discus using Google even though the option to allow Google login button is on. It seems the button is allowed but the pop-up and cross site information is being blocked. I had to add discus.com to the pop-up blocker white list just to see the google pop-up window but still get an error in that window.
How can this issue be reproduced?

  1. Try to login to discuss using google (fail)
  2. Turn off shields
  3. Try again (success)

Expected result:
The pop-up window to login to discus should open and display properly.

Version 1.7.92 Chromium: 80.0.3987.163 (Official Build) (64-bit)
