Brave being used on 2 machines but BAT is not showing on 1

Simply stated I have Brave loaded on 2 laptops, 1 new, 1 old. I am planning to get rid of the old one but the BAT totals on the old machine are not showing up on the new one.

Is there some way to show a correct BAT total on the new laptop so I can pitch the old one without losing BAT?

The already paid one? Or the “estimation”? Screenshot will be helpful too to better understanding the question.

Based on your screenshot, the problem is because it’s two separated (local) wallets. If you want to sync your BAT between devices (up to 4 browser wallets) you can verify it (by connecting to Uphold account). https://support.brave.com/hc/en-us/articles/360034841711-What-is-a-verified-wallet-
