Brave automatically adding websites to my list of search engines. Possible to disable this behaviour?

Description of the issue:
Brave automatically adds websites to my list of search engines. I think this behavior is derived from Chrome. Is it possible to disable this behavior in Brave?

Steps to Reproduce (add as many as necessary):

  1. Visit amazon.com or any other websites
  2. Open Settings - Manage Search Engines
  3. You can see certain websites are automatically added to the list of search engines

Expected result:
I don’t want websites silently adding new “search engines”. Is it possible to disable this behaviour?
