Brave auto-update server broken

Does the Brave update server broken? The live installer won’t download and install the browser, and also it won’t update in Windows 7 SP1 64-bit, but it fines in Windows 10 v1809 LTSC 64-bit, I installed the browser via offline installer of the latest Release version downloaded from Brave’s GitHub.

To be add: Brave thinks the browser it was up-to-date even it release a latest version which is based on Chromium 94, it was stuck on the old version based on Chromium 93 on Windows 10 v1809 LTSC 64-bit .

How can this issue be reproduced?
Windows 7 SP1 64-bit

  1. Open Brave.
  2. Click the Hamburger menu. Select “About Brave”.
  3. An error occurred while checking for updates: Unable to connect to the Internet. HTTP 403 Forbidden. Please check your proxy configuration. (error code 7: 0x80042193 – system level)
