Brave as default in Linux not opening url

I’m using Linux KDE Neon Distro and I have set Brave as my default browser in Brave preference and Linux System Settings. When I click on a web page link in my email client (mailspring or other apps) the focus changes to Brave but it does not open the web page. It’s like it’s executing the ‘Brave’ command but not passing it the web url.

Great product guys. I’m looking forward to v1.0

@EasilyDistracted I’ve just checked on my Ubuntu 17.10 and it opens the passed link.

I used command xdg-open http://google.com
Can you check this command on your end?

Still does not open url when using xdg-open cmd.

Quick screencast link - https://youtu.be/xZVLPb51ffc

@EasilyDistracted The link should open in new Window.

Can you check our new rewrite of Brave Browser?
You need to make association through system(through browser does not work yet).

Great! I did a couple of quick tests and it works. I’ll play with it some more tomorrow .

Thanks, Frank
