Brave ad-blocker Does not Function At All

Hello,

I have recently installed Brave on my late 2015 mac air 11’. The built in ad-blocker does not seem to function whatsoever. I did not change any settings which would affect the way this functions. Advertisements still seem to play on YouTube and any other site I visit. It may also be important to note that all of the statistics (trackers blocked, ads blocked, HTTPS upgrades, estimated time saved) remains at zero.

I am using: “Version 0.56.15 Chromium: 70.0.3538.110 (Official Build) (64-bit)”

I am also unable to reproduce this issue on any other device I install Brave on

Can you check if adblock is set to Block ads and tracker in brave://settings. When you visit any site does the shield icon show blocked items? Could you record a gif image using Licecap ? Its a free software which can be used to record
