Brave 0.21.24 still not picking up proxy settings

If I connect to my corporate VPN, all network connections from Brave that need to be routed through the proxy timeout. Access to intranet based servers works fine however.

This problem has already been reported here for version 0.20.xx, but is still not fixed in 0.21.24
