I really like Brave, but the bookmarks really need some improvements. For me it’s vital to be able to search for a bookmark, and also to have the ability to use bookmarks in a permanently visible sidebar.
On desktop or mobile?
For desktop, there’s search icon at top right on Bookmarks Manager.
On Android, you also can search for your bookmarks.
You can always show your bookmarks bar – shown under URL bar. Ctrl/Cmd + Shift + B
